Look I know this comment is probably going to get a lot of flack but can someone explain to me why this response equals to Cardi B being cancelledT?

From what I see they genuinely didn't know the word was offensive and her response is just her saying that she loves her gays and didn't realize the word had a anti lgbt connotation. 

If I am missing something then please tell me because as far as I can see she has made about the only response she could in this sort of situation.

No, sorry, no leg to stand on here. She knows what he meant, he knows what he meant. I don't buy this playing dumb guise she's putting on here. Playing the "We come from a poor, uneducated community" card doesn't work because words like this are rife in poor, uneducated communities. You don't have to be "educated" to know what this word used in a certain context is offensive. Everyone who's street smart know this and when you're a rapper, you have to be street smart. Besides, not all rappers are uneducated. Some of them graduated high school, went to university. And even if they didn't, despite not showing intellectual intelligence at school, their intelligence comes out in raps. I remember Eminem once said that he failed grade school several times but that didn't make him stupid. And you can see by his rhymes that he's highly intelligent. So, Cardi doesn't get away with basically implying that she and Offset grew up in a hood community where this stuff wasn't taught. Nonsense. Homophobia is rife in the black community and even more rife in the rap community, they can't have gone their entire lives without hearing the word "queer" used negatively. This is just clumsy attempts at defending her man and it's making her look really bad. For the record, we have been "educating" people about this stuff for years, just because she missed that class doesn't mean the rest of us did. And frankly, even with the education, homophobia still isn't going away, so education isn't always the answer. And it would help if she actually pronounced "education" correctly. It's "ed-YOU-cation," not "ed-U-cation." Bit ironic.

She was never taught these things even recently as we can clearly say. However, she has learned now, and she has not used the transphobic slur since the first time 3 years ago. She keeps on tweeting passive aggressive crap to make it seem like she didn't do anything wrong. She's acting like a spoiled toddler. Then she deletes it so not as many people have receipts. Shady. People shouldn't be heckling her but she's adding fuel to the fire. She wasn't "defending" her fiancé. She was basically being complicit. I know she can't control what he says but she acted very flippant. Like if she didn't see anything wrong with what he said. It's not until she gets backlash when she decides to apologize. At least act as if you care about the community. She might or might not care about the community but from this instance, what she really wanted was for her name/brand not to be ruined.

So because Cardi said a few bad things in the past means you can insult her this way? You don't know her and you clearly have not made an effort to do so. That means any opinion you have on her is invalid based on a few of her tweets. You're not even following your own claims LMAO.
