Born This Way,which has songs like Bloody Mary,The Edge Of Glory,The Queen,Hair and Born This Way,the worst?

It's hot to feel the rush
To brush the dangerous
I'm gonna run right to
To the edge with you
Where we can both fall far in love

It's not, it's honest

If you're a 16 years old teen that's how you feel if you don't fit in with what's considered looking/being normal :triggered:

BTW was great but lyrically? It's probably the worst.

I just want to be free, I just want to be me
And I want lots of friends that invite me to their parties

yes a lot of cringe moments but god knows i love that album.

i picked fame monster cos it's a blend of the frivolity of the fame but with more mature qualities

Inferno

The Fame and The Fame Monster were Gaga at her most clever and direct lyrically and in terms of the musical composition.

Born This Way and Joanne were almost steps up but get bogged down by a little too much pandering and corniness. Both in the sense of preaching love and acceptance etc in really basic general ways with tracks like Bad Kids, Come to Mama, Hair etc. She gets a little cringe on both albums in moments.

ARTPOP is her weakest lyrically imo. A little too much RuPaul silliness for me and when it tries to get introspective (Dope, Gypsy, Applause, etc) it kind of just stumbles.

1. Joanne (Come To Mama, Sinner’s Prayer) — I think most of the songs have strong writing. I don’t think there are a lot of stand outs.

2. The Fame Monster (Bad Romance, So Happy I Could Die !!!) — Two major stand outs, weakened by Telephone.

3. Born This Way (The Edge of Glory, You and I, Bloody Mary) — Several big stand outs, several pieces of TRASH

4. ARTPOP (ARTPOP) — Such a strong song, don’t love the lyrics on this album otherwise ...

5. The Fame (Paparazzi) — A lot of fun, not sure it’s the best song writing but I love a lot of the “cringey” ones

Joanne is hands down the best. No doubt about it.

The rest depends on what you like lyrically, but personally? I love the abstract lyrics of ARTPOP, which makes it number two for me. I'd say TFM and BTW are tied- TFM is, from a critical standpoint, poetic and beautiful, but the meaning of BTW hits closer to home for me, and I prefer BTW as a message and aesthetic.
