1989 is more timeless in my opinion, so I think overall it’s the better album, but it also has more flaws. Reputation is almost flawless, but it’s more trendy and could maybe age less gracefully idk

This is actually realllllly hard.

I think that 1989 is a better album but I like Reputation more.

I don’t get it. To me 1989 is more distinct, but reputation is more memorable, and 1989’s lyrics are better in terms of quality, but repuation’s lyrics are more interesting.

1989 seems more clean cut, but reputation seems more in your face and raw (as much as Taylor can be).

I voted reputation simply cause I like the album more, but I do think that 1989 is “better” in terms of pure quality. Kind of like how BTW is my favourite Gaga album, but I recognize that TFM is “better” in terms of cohesion, etc.

Imo (other than half of her debut) Taylor has never put out less than an 8 with any of her albums.

Fearless - 8

Speak Now - 9.5

Red - 10

1989 - 9

reputation - 9-10 (can’t decide yet cause it’s still too new)

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

1989 by far! ALL of the songs on that album are bops! Not one filler! From beginning to end its a pop masterpiece! An experience tbh :tony:

Both are incredible albums.  1989 for me though.  It's pure pop perfection.  Blank Space is an absolute classic.
