Yeah sometimes. But for example, I don't hate jewish people, I don't discriminate when I am in contact with them, I respect their religion and culture, I even went several times as a volunteer in their community center. 

On the other hand, I am completely against the Israeli policies and all what The state of Israel is doing and has done.

So my point is that these two concepts can also be very disconnected.

I've just seen your question now and I don't think it's a situation that can be compared to the Syrian refugees as Syrian are fleeing from a war, the European Jews had nothing to flee from when the genocide ended.

Go Palestine.  I support Lorde's decision. I think this is a good way to draw some attention to the issue. And yes, I think that celebrities should use their voice.

She gonna boycott every country with problematic foreign policy?  This is the easy way out, and there are far better ways she could handle this.  Like someone else suggested, have the concert anyway, but donate the proceeds to a Palestinian aid and development organization.  That way you can let your fans see you in concert, while still making a point about the situation and helping the people you're saying you care about.  This whole "oh, let's 'raise awareness'" bullshit that my generation is so obsessed with is stupid.  Don't stop at raising awareness, move past that and DO something concrete.  This is the easy way out, and makes it feel like it's being done out of concern for her personal safety or to avoid backlash from ignorant people who have no personal investment in the Israel/Palestine dispute, and who would rather complain on the internet than help the situation.

Yeah I think if you were a European Jew, you’d want to get out of Europe when all your family and everyone you knew were slaughtered and no one came to your rescue until Nazis tried to come for their land...

yet people still believe israel should be divided and israelis should go back to europe. like, where'd they go?

ladies and gentlemen, israelis feel unsafe (and that's an understatement) when they're out there anywhere. for them coming back to israel is, you know, touring the world is fun, but coming back is a HUGE relief. and i can understand why. Israel knows how to deal with terror, the world... doesn't. and the world needs to listen and care with more a rational mindset.
