So I'm conflicted yet again.

I've been doing so much research into this since the allegations a couple weeks ago. At first I believed Timothy 100%

But I've been watching Timothy's live videos and I've noticed her doing a lot of body language that people subconsciously do when they're lying. Touching the nose and face, covering the throat, covering her lips, tilting her head, making a lot of eye contact, fragmented sentences, rambling explanations. And on top of that her story keeps changing.

I also went back years into Melanie's Twitter likes and Melanie has always been interested in helping people and building people up and supporting all different kinds of people. It just doesn't add up that someone with a compassionate heart would commit such atrocities.

Unless... Timothy is exaggerating. 

And that's where I'm sitting right now. I believe they had sex, I believe they cheated on their boyfriends. I believe that Melanie ruthlessly cut off her old friends. But I think that Timothy is also exaggerating the pressure and manipulation that happened that night.

Two stupid 20 year old girls making bad decisions they both later came to regret. And then this shitstorm.

Even if she did do those things, we need to forgive her. It happened in the past and she got huge consequences from it, she and everyone else learnt a lesson. Making her feel worse is just inhuman. She needs a fresh start for her and her act.

I’m not so sure analyzing subconscious body movements is completely fair. Heller is probably very nervous when she’s questioned about this event, so playing with her hair, raising her eyebrows and all of those other movements don’t necessarily mean she is exaggerating or lying, they could just be nervous gestures. I can’t side with either person, though.

I feel like Melanie released this track to get promotion off of the controversy just like Timothy was promoting her art after the accusations blew up. It’s just whatever, they are both playing the game. The song is cute. Hopefully the truth will reveal itself soon.
