and the last one to find about R Kelly and Terry Richardson, I pray nothing bad happened to her

Nothing happened to her, but she better put her sh*t together and not collab with them again.

Or else her fanbase could leave her.

That's brilliant, it's nice to see Hollywood taking a stand against something meaningful. :applause:

Side note/kinda off topic: I wish people would take more of a stand against male inequality. There's a lot of fight for gender equality, especially now, yet it always seems very one sided. Suicide rates in men are...well...we all know :/

The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

Equality means equal. Your flippant attitude is a fine display of the attitude that created discrimination in the first place. Congratulations on being part of the problem.

I dont think its so much “gender inequality” as it is misconduct by people in power at least in aspect to the sexual allegations

Men have a physical intimidation edge over women which gives them more power to abuse it

theres high status power as well which in that aspect the inequality thing is relevant

but in most cases i dont think its the issue... its individuals who abuse their perceived power over others

That's one way of seeing it. But also note that a handful of females have been nominated for Best Director at the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

Does it matter what these actresses/presenters/etc are specifically demonstrators for? The point is highlighting the overall attitude of people in the movie industry. And truthfully, gender inequality can include sexual misconduct.

i do not want to sound preachy, but not realizing that gender scripts and power relations are not only related but basically are the constitutive elements of the male paradigm highlights your normative/privileged way of thinking. take a gender course or read up on it a bit please.
