I think that the thing lacking in Gaga directed videos is some kind of finish, I don't know Marry The Night especially for me had this kind of amateurish quality to it which in a way I think reflects the DIY aspect of the BTW era.

Marry the Night is one of Gaga's best directed videos. I can't at these people saying "professional director again!" (besides, Gags got paid for directing MTN, so I got news for ya, she's a professional director).

Exactly!

Or they're just friends and were having drinks.

Personally, I'm not his biggest fan. Judas and Marry the Night are some of her best music videos and she held a directors position in each of them. I wouldn't mind another Gaga-directed video.

Gaga is not a bad director but her latest videos aren't as amazing as Telephone/Paparazzi/Bad Romance

She did a good job directing videos herself, and it will be good if someone directs it as well. I really hope this means a continuation of telephone. Oh, and she looks ADORABLE

I really wish people would stop ragging on Gaga for self-directing her videos.

she shouldn't have ever self directed anything :pukey: :pukey: :pukey:

Purely on direction of MTN itself, it's one of her best. This is my pure objective opinion.

But, even though Gaga's proven herself a talent behind the camera as well, I will be glad if she brings Akerlund back on board for the continuation of the saga, as that should help ensure it has some aesthetic cohesion. Plus, it's just kind of the right thing to do out of respect.

Ah, yes! If it's for the Paparazzi series then it definitely makes sense. Though, imagine if she co-directs with Akerlund? I think something amazing could happen.

ohgodohgodohgod it's probably all a subversion, I don't know :cryga:

Opinions are always subjective, never objective :nacho:

It's Åkerlund, not Akerlund. Also; Alexander Skarsgård, not Skarsgard.
