Americano 31,061
She probably went to him for tips, and is now gonna direct the entire thing herself and edit it herself.

iamtomalmond 0
With the exception of "Judas" (which BoomKack ****ed up) I actually thought all the BTW videos were decently directed, especially "Born This Way" and "Marry the Night". I loved the Judas video :adam:

Tyler1992 2,265
I honestly think Gaga was a great director throughout Born This Way. We saw her really get to grow as a Director, and that was good for her,! I honestly wouldn't mind if she directed her videos again, but the "To Be Continued..." :nacho: needs a continue... Like, now. lol Bam!
Tyler1992 2,265
It would be interesting to see the continuation. Because gaga said herself that she hated ye telephone video. She would Probably be heavily involved in this one, unlike telephone where she apparety didn't have as much say
Miel 15,009
It would be interesting to see the continuation. Because gaga said herself that she hated ye telephone video. She would Probably be heavily involved in this one, unlike telephone where she apparety didn't have as much say Did she really not have much say for the Telephone video? If so, imagine if Gaga and A(+accent)kerlund actually full-on collaborated in video direction. Ohhhhhhhhh. 3 points in and ready for more
Nemo 4,295
I think she had plenty of say in "Telephone", it was some of her own decisions that she regretted, she wasn't blaming Jonas.
Xavier 0
Marry the Night is one of Gaga's best directed videos. I can't at these people saying "professional director again!" (besides, Gags got paid for directing MTN, so I got news for ya, she's a professional director). But, even though Gaga's proven herself a talent behind the camera as well, I will be glad if she brings Akerlund back on board for the continuation of the saga, as that should help ensure it has some aesthetic cohesion. Plus, it's just kind of the right thing to do out of respect. I actually think Marry the Night was very poorly edited and the execution of her concept was done poorly as well. It wasn't cohesive and it seemed very amateurish but with a professional camera. She's really not a great director. Her career is still too young for her to afford to kill a music video like that.
