Oh c'mon! Really ? That album is great.

Idk. It was more of a collection of songs she had released before, plus few new ones. And the quality is not that good (At least for her standards as a songwriter).

Shakira used to deliver with her albums, (Fijación Oral Vol. 1 & 2 were amazing records). And the other ones were solid projects too. But this album consists of a mix of random songs put together for whatever reason.

The only thing I give Witness credit for is that she FINALLY evolved a bit from Teenage Dream/ PRISM. Those two literally sounded like the same album. She evolved (maybe not for the good), so gotta give ha a little credit

Younger Now has a good vibe and Malibu slays, but other than that, it’s very bland and disappointing

Drake’s More Life album was also very disappointing. Y’all can say what you want but Drake DELIVERED up until this album, Take Care, Nothing Was The Same, and Views are all GREAT albums

Wowwww! And do you really think Bon Appetit or Swish Swish are actually decent songs? Just curious

Still don't know how to feel about Swish Swish exactly.

I think the lead singles are not necessarely linked to the rest of the album (expect for Chained To The Rhythm, I guess).

But yes, I love Witness as an album, because Katy expressed the real side of her identity in all its shades in my opinion.

It's still too early in my estimation to start doing these lists. I'm old school and believe that the year isn't over til it's over. I'm an album reviewer and I've still got Eminem and NERD's album to do on the 15th and then that should be it for the year. As Eminem is a huge name, I can't just discount him. Honestly, it annoys me how every internet music reviewer, professional critics and even music publications put out their best/worst lists before the year's out. A lot of them do it in November, some even do it in October which is nuts as so many big names release in November. It's partly why a lot of artists don't even bother with December releases because if they do, they get cut out of these lists. I'll put out my full best/worst list in late mid-late January as usual, when the year's over and I assemble all the best and worst of music. It takes time to process.

But nevertheless, here are the absolute worst of the worst I've reviewed this year (1.5 stars or less). This means all the remaining albums on the list will be 2 stars or more. Understand that these albums are in no particular order of badness as of yet, I've just listed them in chronological order...

Migos - Culture

Future - FUTURE

Nelly Furtado - The Ride

Lil Yachty - Teenage Emotions

Imagine Dragons - Evolve

The Script - Freedom Child

Maroon 5 - Red Pill Blues

The Chainsmokers were suprisingly not as bad as all that but they'll still probably make my end of year worst list as it is a list of 20 albums, after all. And considering that I'm infamous as a Taylor Swift hater around here, you might be surprised to see that she's not listed here. Yep, I'm not as biased as some of you think I am.
