PunkTheFunk 123,176
I've recently been doing some research into Gaga's family history, and was actually planning on doing a series of threads focusing on each set of Gaga's great-grandparents (the Germanottas, the Calderones, the Bissetts, and the Ferris). This may come as a surprise to you but I LOVE genealogy. Some people like going to parties; I like to sift through hundreds of pages of census, marriage, and birth records. Yes I'm still a virgin. Anyway, I started off with Antonino and Rosario Germanotta, Gaga's great-grandparent's (Joe's grandparents, or his father's parents). Soon after getting married in 1904 the couple immigrated from their hometown of Naso in northeastern Sicily (Italy) to New Jersey in the United States, where they would live for the rest of their lives. Naso has been the home of the Germanotta family for generations. Naturally I did a bit of research on the town and found that the patron saint of Naso is St. Conone, or San Cono Abate as he is known in Italian. St. Conone, pictured above, was a Basilian monk who lived in Naso in the 12th and 13th centuries. His feast day is celebrated on the day he died, and his statue is paraded through streets of the town each year in honor of him. This is probably a tradition which Gaga's ancestors had taken part in for hundreds of years. And do you know when the Feast of San Cono is held? March 28, the same day Gaga was born Now you might be thinking, "Oh, sure, so she was born on the same day he died. Big deal. I was born on the same day Tupac died." But consider this: First, keep in mind that Good Friday (the holy day in Christianity commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ) does not fall on the same date every year. This year it was April 14. Last year it was March 25. Next year it'll be March 30. San Cono died on March 28, 1236, on Good Friday, exactly 750 years before Gaga was born. "[...] the inhabitants of Naso heard the bells of the city ringing "not by anybody". The Nasites, with immense amazement, came to the grotto of San Michele, where the abbot Conone had retired to life as a hermit, to ask for an explanation of this inexplicable phenomenon, but when they reached the cave, new wonder upset them. They found him lifted from the ground, with his eyes turned to the sky and surrounded by a pure light. Conon Navacita had ascended to heaven, already in the odor of Holiness. Since then, every March 28th, at 3 pm, a moment of prayer takes place accompanied by the sound of the famous bell that miraculously played at the moment of the ascent to the sky of San Cono. [x] And do you know when Gaga was born? March 28, 1986...ON GOOD FRIDAY Now I'm not saying Gaga is the reincarnation of a Saint but I'm also not saying that she isn't

PunkTheFunk 123,176
Just now, Saint Laurent said: how many times was good Friday on March 28 between 1236 and 1986? Multiple times, but that's not the point. The point is Gaga, a descendant of the people from Naso, was born on the exact same day of the feast of its patron saint, and Gaga is the patron saint of the gays
