Just in case anybody else can’t find them, she sings the backing part of the lyric “love” in the chorus and bridge. This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare. But Gagas vocals are not so outstanding like in "Find yourself". Shes really in the background here. At first I had problems to find her voice because shes usually rocking the song. This one is no remarkable backing vocal. Neight Shayde 7,925 Posted December 1, 2017 Share Posted December 1, 2017 Bowie gave his backing vocals (and other contributions; Arcade Fire, Iggy Pop, David Byrne) to other artists back then because he believed in the songs and he just loves to create or talk about music in general. To say that it is a 'waste of time' and a 'waste of talent' is so selfish.
