Why Do Iconic Pop Songs Come in 3s? [Gaga Career Prediction]

I've noticed that at the end of one decade and the start of another there's always a huge female pop artist who has a lot of hits around then, but there's always 3 huge, iconic pop songs that they release in a similar pattern

Let's take a look, shall we?

 

Madonna - Late 80s/Early 90s

1989 - Like a Prayer

1989 - Express Yourself

1990 - Vogue

Arguably some of Madonna's biggest songs in her career, all released in a short span of a few years, and although she wasn't completely missing from the mid to late 90s, her next huge hit will come at the start of the century, with Britney's debut

Britney Spears - Late 90s/Early 00s

1998 - ...Baby One More Time

2000 - Oops I Did it Again

(Madonna has her next huge hit with "Music")

2003 - Toxic

Interestingly, Britney also receives (arguably) her 3 most iconic songs at the end of the 90s and start of 2000s, and right as Britney is rising, Madonna gets a resurgence with the "Music" era in 2000. Britney's next huge hit(s) will be at the end of the 2000s, right around the time a another, possibly italian, pop star is on the rise.

Lady Gaga - Late 00s/Early 10s

2008 - Poker Face

(As Gaga is rising Britney also gets another huge hit with the Blackout/Circus Eras, and Madonna gets another hit with "4 Minutes")

2009 - Bad Romance

2011 - Born This Way

Just like Donna and Brinty, Gaga received her 3 most iconic hits in the same start/end of a decade pattern, and as she's rising Britney and Madonna get bursts of success too

????? - Late 10s/Early 20s

Here's Where my theory for the future of Gaga's career comes in.

As we're approaching the end of the 2010s, I think we should keep an eye out in both 2018/2019 for the start of a new icon, that will follow up the success of Madonna/Britney/Gaga they way that they had done before. And with this new artist's arrival, if my delusional theory is true, Gaga will also get another highly successful pop era, and Britney could get another moderate hit in the years 2018-2023. Idk what'll happen to Madonna though since its never gotten this far before, but hopefully she'll find success too.

neither Madoner at the beggining but she slayed so... i dont see any other girl slaying, the former disney singers are kinda bland for me, ariana, miley, demi, selena, i dont see any of them as the level of what Madge, Brit and Gagz were, Dua is barely starting so..

I think Dua may have a shot with the right marketing team, but I have a feeling the next in line for this pattern is completely unknown rn
