Because people act like its "the end of the internet and freedom and rights" when the worst thing that will happen is that people will have to pay extra for different sites depending on what they want to use, or cheaper for those who only use a handful of sites. Other countries have done it and theyre still there. But everything is meaningless if people just sit back and watch things happen, every american should do their homework and do what they can to stop it.
