i think it was something around 30M

Seems pretty high for a movie of this type. Hopefully Gaga got paid 10million of this.

What would you guys consider a success as far as box office? 100M worldwide? 200M?

I feel it will easily break 50M in the US alone.

According to Deadline‘s report, the two tested together and it went well, and Gaga was the first move after Beyonce dropped out of the film. A Star is Born will film in California, with a $30 million budget, with Cooper producing (along with his The Hangover director Todd Phillips), and Gaga likely recording original music for the movie.

When it's more than its break-even point..... so box office should be higher than the sum of movie budget plus promo/marketing campaign budget..... If she can achieve that I am more than happy. :awkney:

I think 100M worldwide could easily be done with the right promotion. Hopefully the studio likes it and supports it.

So could this mean that the budget for promo/marketing campaign could already be included in that?

No, budget and marketing campaing are usually separate

Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?

I'm confident it will be sucessful. WB pushed it to an earlier release, that's a good sign.
