But honestly I don't trust him, the movie comes out in mid May 2018. Earned It, for instance, was released January 13 but the movie opened on February 9. Skyfall by Adele was released Oct 5 while the movie was out in early November worldwide. 

Why would she release a song in ~February to release another one in April when the first is for "LG6" but the second for the movie's soundtrack?

I mean is not a bad idea to surprise drop an EP a-la-The Cure before the European leg. She doesn't need to promote it at all, but by adding new music to Gaga's catalog that appeals to European countries it could revive tickets sales at some of the tragic tour dates
