At least Christian's tattoo is based on a work of art. A lot of people get tattoos of something that inspires them and perhaps he feels inspired by her. I think it's a lovely gesture. It's like unwritten law that if you get any tattoo commemorating your boyfriend/girlfriend whoever that the relationship is going to fail. Unless he already had it.... Like when Johnny Depp was in a relationship with Winona Ryder, when Johnny got "Winona Forever" on his arm and then they broke up and he changed it to "Wino Forever".
