Guest bostonGUY Posted November 13, 2017 Share Posted November 13, 2017 So I'm screwing around will all of the 300 million vocal stems from Venus on Audacity (I'm trying to make a shoddy edit to a remix I found) Anyway I had most of the vocal tracks muted except the smaller ones where her vocals were quieter And one of the stems, and I mean only one, had an alternate vocal recorded So after the second set of verses, when she sings: "Take me to your planet (to the planet) Take me to your planet (to the planet) Take me to your leader (to the planet) Your leader, your leader (to the planet)" On the first line that she sings "Take me to your leader", on that one stem, she actually sings, "Take me to your Venus, your leader, your leader" It's a very, very small detail that I doubt is noticeable in the final song, but it's a cool detail Here's the audio. Venus is such a complex masterpiece, you can hear, in the released version, a lot of different versions of the song. Like in Mary Jane Holland, on the second pre-chorus (Cuz I love love, Cuz I love love, You better than, You better than) in the background you can hear the demo's first pre-chorus (Cuz I loooove yooooouu betteeeer thaaaaaaan. It's not in the first pre-chorus and there's a big difference in the two demo's pre-choruses.
