When you line up early for CTM check in, do you have to wait outside?

Does the early CTM line assemble outside, or can you line up inside the venue? It's going to be very cold the date of my show, but I want to be front row of the main stage.

My show was Mohegan Sun, so everything was inside. They also gave us numbered wristbands so we didn't have to wait all day. I'm not sure about other shows though. I would assume outside.

I wasn't CTM but I arrived early for my show at The Forum in LA and everyone with CTM was lined up outside. They give you numbered wristbands but only after a certain time of the day. Some people had been waiting outside for a while. I think it depends on the size of the venue and I would imagine also the weather conditions in the area.
