But I see no invention, no will to go out of the box, to do something great. It's a very cookie cutter pop commercial album and her and her label wants it to be that way. There are a lot of songs that sound exactly like 1989, others have an edgier sound but they are too similar to each other. The lyrical content is... problematic. Once again she wrote a whole album about boys. I mean, she went through a lot these past couple of years, she could be writing about how media treat women, the world's obsession with celebrities, about being caught in the game.... But she's too far into the game to even think about writing about those things. In the end it's all about how she's a victim and how her boyfriend is cute. Not my cup of tea. Delicate is my favorite. Here are my favs so far, the rest may grow on me after a couple more listens 1. Look What You Made Me Do 2. Ready For It 3. I Did Something Bad 4. Call It What You Want 5. Dress 6.Delicate 7. End Game ( Ed Sheeran is the best part of the song ironically ) 8. Dancing with Our Hands Tied 9.
