Drin Lon 7,875
You can hate on Katy all you want but you can't deny the critics are way too harsh on her. Glory gets a score of 71 but PRISM 61... and this is coming from a big Britney stan/ PRISM is her best album and it deserves more recognition. The deluxe tracks, Dark Horse, Waking On Air, Legendary Lover, By The Grace Of God and Unconditionally are amazing songs.

Dominic 11,922
Choose Your Battles, Walking on Air and Dark Horse. Great songs. Most of my favourite artists are 60's on Metacritic The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
WeDontStop 909
I kinda have a grudge on Katy and on PRISM (I love them both though ) Some of the songs I've heard were going to be on PRISM are Britney Spears' "Passenger" and Iggy Azalea's "Black Widow" and I'm pretty upset she gave those songs away. + I wish she put "Heartache Crusade" on the album too, the title sounds nice. i got the boys in dubai
StrawberryBlond 14,870
I don't get why this is her most critically acclaimed. I think it's her worst one. There's only 2 good songs on it - Dark Horse and By the Grace of God, plus It Takes Two on the deluxe (don't know how that didn't make the standard edition). Everything else was paint by numbers, generic, forgettable, bland pop music that she's too old to be singing. I mean, most of it was Disney child star level music. Sexual themes have always been present in Katy's music, even if the song itself is not about sex (she actually only has only 4 sex songs her entire career) and her work has also made reference to other adult things but with this album, it's like she played it too safe, she removed almost all scrap of anything that wasn't kid friendly to guarantee sales from her young fanbase and their parents approval. Dark Horse and Birthday are the only songs on the entire thing that actually display anything close to adult content and the innuendo in Birthday is so subtle that it would pass over a lot of kids heads. It was like her team wanted to her to make Teenage Dream 2.0 but just couldn't take it all the way, so they decided to encourage rip-off versions of her previous songs and diluted kid-friendly bops. No wonder the album sales and singles performance decline was huge. Witness has only been a fraction better. Teenage Dream is the only properly good album she's ever made. All of them have had a different score from me, TD being the only one that even reached half-marks.

Everything since than is Katy trying to recreate TD's success and quality, but failing miserably by doing music for 12 year olds while being 35. Katy is over in my(and GP's) book.
