Andrew2512 321
Why are Melodrama , Rainbow and Literally all Lana's discography critically acclaimed So we get that most critics are a punch of Oldies who grew up listening to slow music and the vocalists era blah blah but it seems like anyone putting out boring slow music nowadays is critically acclaimed. Like Melodrama singles and promo ones were so good but listening to the rest of the album it's boring and her voice is so weak kinda annoying . Same with Lana who I fall asleep by the 3rd song of a setlist where all songs are literally the same with different titles and if I'll finish the album I'm sure I'm getting into coma. And same with Rainbow it had good songs but it's full of pretentious I'm strong independent schiesse through the entire album and had a lot of boring fillers. So how is the iconic masterpiece Born This Way is 71/100 and TFM not even critically acclaimed and have some mixed reviews while those boring girls get all that praise

gag 22,449
Because they’re good albums and music is subjective. Also because Melodrama is the best thing any pop girl has released this year. headspin, happiness, DE̤̣A̢̯͔̘T͏͙̗̟̫H̗̙͡ͅ
ZiggyZiggs 30,062
Literally my face while reading this: Everyone is allowed to have their own taste in music or whatever. The critics love them so what? They deserve it anyway lol
Lextyr97 19,958
Whether their albums are good or not, they're just lucky because critics aren't so harsh on them. Example: Born This Way- 0 out of 100 /Thread OT: I think the OP is saying in comparison to Lady Gaga

Stewful2929 786
Lorde is arguably the best song writer out right now. Lana is unique and has a style no one else can pull off

ArtGagaPop 61,940
There is alot of good songs on both melodrama/rainbow that are not singels so it definitely deserved. But i agree that gagas work have way worse scores on those critic sites then it should have. But many of them have something against gaga and critic gaga the person and not the music

FfFfFfFF 55,940
Talking only about the choosing of words: Born to Die has mixed perception. Lana doesn't have any 80+ (aka universally aclaimed) albums and I don't think Kesha is too critically acclaimed either. Generally they have good-perception from fans, not critics (except Lorde).
