So as long as crimes exist in the past, people are off the hook? Nazis, white supremacists, rapists, racists, etc. All off the hook because a crime happened years ago? Do we let loose criminals in prison after 30 years just because we shouldn't be "butthurt" over it anymore? These are serious allegations. And no one should take them as real or false at this point, but let's not start going crazy because a show got cancelled. You "modern life trend" thing isn't an issue. It's what happens when real life kicks in and people start making decisions.

The OP, in his headline, is the only one attributing the cancellation to the revelation. It's not anywhere in the cited article; in fact, they say the opposite:

"Multiple sources tell TVLine, which first reported the news, that the decision to wrap up the series was made months ago and not in response to the controversy surrounding its Golden Globe-winning star."

I mean, we don't even know if Netflix would've ended the show regardless of these allegations. It's not like the show would've gone on for 20 seasons. The show was nearing it's end and these people on the show know all about the business. They know that any show that they're on could be canceled at anytime. They were lucky to be on a show that will last 6 seasons. They're professionals who will find work.

I feel for him. He's a great actor and he'll be punished for something he did decades ago. I'm pretty sure he's really sorry. And if Hollywood gave a second chance to Mel Gibson, he deserves one as well. (I know their cases are different, but both serious).

No. The article does mention that filming for the last season already started. And a lot of people aren't picking up on that.
