I think if this is problematic or not comes down to if he knew the boy was 14 at that point. If I went to a Hollywood party I just wouldn’t expect to meet anyone that age there.

I don’t think he meant “choose” in that way, rather how before you could say he was living the life of a straight person, hiding his sexuality, but now he has chosen to accept who he is and is being public about it.

Not really. The point is that he has had years and years to be able to come out with minor backlash, he's already on one of Netflix's largest shows. but instead he chose to reveal it in the same post admitting to sexual assault.

Not necessarily. Actual pedophiles don't care about the gender/sex of the child, its a power thing. 

But then, he is trying to say that he isn't a pedophile and he was just drunk. He could've just said he was drunk and be done with it. He already said he didn't remember the incident. It really wasn't necessary to come out.

Kevin Spacey deserves the **** storm- and maybe more. He did something very  wrong.

It takes alot of courage to admit this. He did a big mistake but he also did apologize infront of everyone. Ill give him credit for that, but he tries to cover this with his comming out. He turns this thing to something thats about him to distract from the topic, and thats in contradiction to the comming out. This is cowardly

Though he says that he is not sure if he did that I assume he did, because of his comming out move. In addition he wouldnt post like this : "Oh im sorry if there was sexual assault" He would rather say: "no i did not do such things- I want to distance myself from this"
