Is there any relation with all the crap gym rats put into their bodies? Or just race?

There was speculation about it being related to caucasian men eating red meat more frequently than black men in comparison, but that is just actual speculation, there's no proof for caucasian men eating more red meat than black men in the first place, let alone proof for it causing trouble in gym.

I highly highly doubt this is due to genetic factors.

I haven't read the study, but did they consider diets, sample size, or a more diversified sample group?

I feel like white guys are more likely to use a bunch of weird supplements or protein shakes in their diets if they're obsessed with training, so that could've skewed the results.

. . . research has revealed that white men who work out at least 7.5 hours a week are nearly twice as likely to suffer from heart disease.

The high levels of exercise over time puts stress on the arteries and can lead to what is called C.A.C

Look it up, other studies have found similar racial associations.

Probably too much weight lifting, over exertion, and too little cardio. Plus, they probably have poor health habits overall.

You can look fit and be really unhealthy overall.

No, there are a bunch of studies showing a higher rate of CAC in white samples than in their black samples.

For example, another study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3026318/

Prevalence of CAC, adjusted for age and study, was lower in blacks than in whites for both women and men (Table 2). Quantity of CAC was lower in black men than in white men, but did not differ between black and white women.
