That’s why I hate the song - not cause I hate swift

But if you  trash talk the song lyric. This post is for you. Number 1: The lyric is not childish. What kind of slutty child that getting drunk drinking whisky and lure a guy to a dark room to do all the hand actions and then invite him to go home for banging? Is any of you that much of a thot at 13? Number 2: The song capture that thirsty for crush feeling perfectly. And i think you guys should be the one to understand that feeling completely cause i always see you break your heels to run to a shirtless, bare ass, hunty thread Number 3: Crush don`t only happen to people under 15, but it also happens to grow up single people and people who`s in relationship or even married or anyone who have a heart and feeling, you dead inside bitch. Number 4: Now use your tiny hands to click on the link below http://kworb.net/radio/ Yes, it`s a link to current top 40 on pop radio, now try to find a song has better lyric than Gorgeous that is not Kesha-Praying and Logic-1 800 Number 5: Not every song have to have lyric like All too well or Enchanted. Some songs just suppose to be a chill, laidback, relatable, fun bop.  Reveal hidden contents from ATRL, speaks my mind  I still hate the lyrics  I don’t care if it has “better lyrics” than other top 40 songs

StrawberryBlond 14,865
It actually looked like I was going to like this album but now it's starting to go downhill again. I hate the kid's voice at the beginning, it reminds me of the start of the Fergie song, Enchante. Kid's voices should not be on music, unless it's Another Brick In The Wall. And the lyrics are so childish: "You're so gorgeous, I can't say anything to your face...cos look at your face" is so juvenile. She sounds so snotty through all this too, the whole air of superiority thing again. I just don't think the title word choice is the right word to use to a man, I don't know. And that line about going home to the cats just made me cringe. Especially when she felt the need to labour the point by adding "alone" even though that was completely obvious. This was so clearly made for her young fanbase and it is a big step back for her at this point. I thought she was trying to mature her music and sing about relationships more like an adult but she still can't quite crack it. And at 27, that's pretty sad. 2 hours ago, TheCureinMalibu said: Okie, i respect if you dont like the song cause of the production, the vibe, the melody, or simply just dont personally like it. You don't have to be singing about kiddy stuff to make a song childish. It's to do with word choice, phrasing choice. Lines like "I've got a boyfriend, he's older than us," "I can't say anything to your face, cos look at your face," "if you've got a girlfriend, I'm jealous of her, but if you're single, that's probably worse," "ocean blue eyes looking in mine, I feel I might sink and drown and die," "there's nothing I hate more than what I can't have, I guess I'll just stumble on home to my cats." These lines are not how a 27 year old sings about adult relationships. Adults can sing about crushes but not like this. They do it in a much more classy, sexy way than this. Honestly, part of the reason why I'm always so harsh on Taylor's music is because critics rave about her lyricism and she is frequently praised as some sort of huge writing talent. And I've rarely seen this genius so many people bang on about. So, in the case of songs like these, I feel the need to ask what in the world people see in her and why this level of writing gets praised but much better stuff from the likes of Gaga does not. This has always been my issue with Taylor, and why I stan Gaga so hard. As someone who lives in NYC, you listen to Gaga's homage to the city (MTN) compared to Taylor's "Welcome to NY" and it's summed up perfectly. MTN is a deep, dark tribute to a place that is innately hard to live in, while Taylor bops around singing about the bright lights and boys and boys and girls and girls. She is not living life as a passionate woman with past history/trauma/sorrow. She's still a bit of a child mentally, and crushes on men, rather then loving/lusting over them. There is not depth, or any sort of negative emotion.
