Worth mentioning also that Come On Over is the best selling album by a female artist Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction? And not to over-generalize things, but she was the first MEGA country-pop crossover act. She was the result of numerous 90’s country hit-makers and she struck gold. She paved the way for T Swift to do it, though Shania didn’t need to completely shift genres. I was brought up on her and Reba Mcentire’s music long before pop music was even on my radar. That J 12,166
The album has grown on me. So give it time and go back to it if you haven't already. I saw someone mentioning worthy songs. My favorite is "We've Got Something They Don't". Love that song!! She could not be any sweeter or more lovely if she tried! This video made me smile. Knowing her story makes me even more excited for her to have this time to celebrate her number one album. She seems like a total sweetie so it's cute!
