My issue with the flower thing is....the timeliness of it.

She's got an album coming out next month.

Where were the flowers for other events that occurred that took place during times when you didn't have an album coming out?

Well, there could be a point to be made there lol

But I think Taylor Swift has in fact paid tributes to past incidents?

Music superstar Taylor Swift came under fire from liberal activists and left-wing radicals this week, just days after the pop star sent dozens of flowers to a police department whose officer was injured in last weekend’s devastating mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Swift sent several bouquets of flowers to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Community Police station, whose off-duty officer was hurt when Stephen Paddock opened fire on a country music festival on the Las Vegas strip.

An analyst with the LAPD thanked the singer on social media, writing, “Talk about a class act! @taylorswift sent multiple bouquets of flowers and plants to our station, as one of our officers was shot in Las Vegas last night. This is one of the smaller arrangements. Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Much respect."

Predictably, those on the left attacked Swift within minutes, saying “How about Taylor Swift send flowers to the families of the victims as well as the other 500+ people injured from the shooting”

I wonder how many people those who criticize her sent flowers to

It's important to give respects to the victims and their families, but without the police, Stephen Paddock would still be out there. They risked their lives for the sole purpose of protecting more people from danger. A lot of attention is on the victims, which is great, but we should also acknowledge the wonderful officers who prevented further catastrophe.

People need to calm down and stop getting angry at irrelevant things :poot:

It's delusional and irrational people like this that hurt progressive movements.

This generation has absolutely no grasp on anything that matters and it’s worrying. Future politics will sure be interesting.

Look at the source of the article. That's very telling that it's all mainly bs. We can have a conversation about certain individuals trying to make a bogus argument. But let's also make sure we're reading credible and non-biased media reports.

Why? :oprah: Isn't iHeartRadio not reliable? Do they have some sort of beef with Taylor? Are they SJWs? :oprah:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Also, does the article headline really need "PATHETIC" in it?

Trying to make this non-existent protest of Taylor giving flowers an actual headline is even worse. We should know by know that Twitter is full of users(fake and real) saying bs 24/7.

It’s propaganda. Usually I just look at the link as the source but something seemed off about this story.

“Hannity staff” Can’t say I’m surprised.

I just saw it from iHeartRadio. Are these tweets somehow not true just because the original source comes from someone you don’t like?

The tweets are probably real. But that doesn't make the argument in the article any real. We're pointing out the fact that the source is completely bias and propaganda. If you would do your research you'd see that from the website as sourced. Liberal activists have more important things to focus on. And again, we should be smarter than to bow down and give time to Twitter trolls. This isn't a thing. So can we please stop trying?

1. “Leftist radicals” - no evidence of that and purely stated for propaganda purposes

2. Anyone who’s on Twitter knows every artist has rabid haters and they attack everything they do. Has nothing to do with politics most of the time.

3. This story was created to paint liberals as anti-police. It is a narrative that has been going on for years.

3 tweets, one deleted, only one was actually attacking her, couldn’t even get 5 retweets... besides, celebs are attacked on Twitter every day by trolls and haters and it usually ends up in the news when those tweets become viral, not this mess.

This is a non story.

Please don’t link CNN stories either then. Do you know how few sources are actually unbiased?

Did you know there’s a difference between bias and pure propaganda?

Did you know facts aren’t biased yet may be perceived as such when they don’t align with a person’s preferred world view?

So you're telling us that iHeartRadio/Hannity.com and CNN are on the same level of news reporting?

Please stop. Again, and this is the last time I'll say it, this isn't a story. It's completely fabricated to create a story that is anti-left. So stop trying to defend it and create ill forming parallels between real credible news and propaganda.
