Here's the thing: We aren't rampant with polio anymore. Argument shut down, Calvin. Vaccines work as well as a good diet, though "detox smoothies" are bullshit.

Have fun drinking your fruit smoothie when you catch a virus which your body's immune system has no information about bc you never got vaccined with it

I didn't put Calvin Harris down as an pseudo-science anti-vaxxer type. He always seemed so grounded in reality. Perhaps his body transformation partly through diet made him believe that looking lean and buffed up with a six pack is the same thing as being healthy. Healthy food does not cure diseases, I don't know how this is still being debated in the modern world. And the amount of diseases that vaccines prevent outbreaks of is stratospheric.

Where did all this even come from? Celebrities tend to have Twitter beefs with other celebrities. Is he having a breakdown?

I get that fruit and vegetables help maintain good health by providing essential vitamins and minerals and stuff but come on, antibodies are a different thing altogether and that's extremely basic biology :rip: You don't absorb resistance against all pathogens through diet, that's ridiculous :air:

I feel bad for his future kids, man. He probably one of those parents too. Except being a celeb that he is, he might have some immunity from law and not easily arrested when he does harm to his children by being anti vaxxer :grr:

I mean he dragged Gaga, dated Taylor Swift, and didn't release Together as a single. He's not very smart so him being an anti vaxxer isn't surprising. Have fun with measles.

T$ dropped ha ass long ago for a reason lel, so don’t use T$ as if she is a bad person, she donated for Kesha and always answer her calls when need be. It’s just that Calvin is a total jerk, with or without her, just that, I mean, have you already forgot what he did to Rita Ora? No need to drag a woman into this to prove a point.

As a nurse, I firmly do believe that vaccines save lives. Some nasty horrible diseases have been eradicated thanks to vaccines. That being said, I'm against over vaccination. I believe that children should have their initial shots as babies but then run a blood test called a titer that tells you if their immune system has appropriately responded and is immune to a particular disease/diseases. If the titer comes back positive, there's no need to re-vaccinate for whatever diseases you vaccinated for because the child is already immune. If the titer dips below a certain level, then get a booster vaccine.

There is no such thing as over vaccination.

The only reason to do a titer is to confirm immunity for particularly hazardous work environments, or if the immunization is much more expensive than the titer.
