Anyway, stay safe and united, dont let politics from either side on this divide the country even more. Mexico earthquake united the people in a way that hasnt been seen in years, with the lack of a good government response, it was up to the people to stand up and go help and save lives, everyone was cooperating in such a love full way, and im sure thats how it will go down in history. Because it's a white guy with no previous 'terrorist-like' actions on record, although apparently he was indeed known to local law enforcement in his hometown of Mesquite, Nevada, 80 miles to the north of Las Vegas. This was literally the first thing I saw when I turned my computer on this morning. I can't believe it. It's so brutal, so cold, so horrifying. I was in Las Vegas this year, and so was one of my cousins. The fact I don't know of someone who was hurt or murdered but was so close to being in the area is just... my body feels cold and numb and my throat is dry. Probably because the gunfire sounds like it's coming from a fully automatic rifle which is banned in the U.S. thanks to two federal laws. I'm not sure either though, I'm no gun expert and honestly wouldn't even be mad if everything but basic semi-automatic pistols were totally banned. If the gun he used isn't illegal, it should be.
