It’s a shame that nobody really speaks about this *still ongoing* genocide. 

It’s so horrific and sickening to think that this kind of stuff still happens and yet, very little is actually being done about it.

rohingya muslims are one of the most oppressed people on earth - not only are they denied citizenship by their own rakhine state , but they are mercilessly persecuted by the myanmar government due to what they call "ethnic cleansing" . they face being tortured , beaten , raped , shot , hacked to death and burned alive . over 3000 rohingya were killed by myanmar military in august and september 2017 alone .

I did a project on the civil war in Sri Lankan and it's almost the same as you described it. No one on the news mentions this, my parents watch Mexican news, the station they watch tends to include what's happening around the world, and not a word about what's going on in Myanmar. Oh but if it was Western Europe or a country with oil depositories that'd be a different story.

Hope the mods warn the entire Myanmar government as well for forcing the Rohingya people to live out this nightmare everyday instead of tumbling on it on the internet. They surely didn’t give any graphic warnings before forcing these conditions on these children.
