Hunny it's worth it :hor:

I feel very confident in MR. From previous winners of SOTY, they were slow-tempo'd songs

Between Despacito, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, she's probably not even gonna get nominated.

It has a much better chance than MR :trollga:

The song is coming from a 91 metacritic scored album while MR comes from Jopanned

For anyone who actually knows song-structure, Green Light is a bit off, the chord changes specifically as well as the balance between the number of bars in different sections. Grammys are usually traditionalists, but we're dealing with a different voting system this year so it's hard to guess what will happen.

The song which flopped is coming from an album with flop sales :trollga:

Plus MR itself is an acclaimed song :reductive:

Shape of You is from a shitty album and it's going to be nominated:hor: because of its commercial performance

Some songs get nominated due to incredible success (Shape of You), some songs get nominated because of incredible critical reviews (Green Light and the parent album). Million Reasons has neither. :trollga: At least not to the same extent as those 2 songs.

Wasn't it Dr. Luke/Zedd/Max Martin (i can't remember which one) who said this for the reason it won't do well commercially? Commericial viability structure isn't applicable for the Grammys unless the song is Shape Of You.

The song being written "a bit off" should give the voters a refreshing view of songwriting, which is the basis for awarding SOTY (And even ROTY). :classy:

Despacito is going to end up (if it hasn't already) the most successful song of the century, they'd be foolish not to recognise a song of that magnitude.

Firstly, Despacito is nominated in both ROTY and SOTY in the Latin Grammys. Despacito is not even a well-written song. SOTY awards for the songwriting and Despacito is not SOTY material. ROTY maybe but not SOTY. Happy was the biggest song of 2014 and it was snubbed in both ROTY and SOTY :reductive:

Some get snubbed :trollga: Plus Green Light isn't something Grammy voters prefer :hor: I can say in confidence that MR is. Jazz, pop, country voters will mostly vote for MR :hor:
