Last time we had serious chart fraud in Germany was when the Eurovision entry of Germany got exposed for buying back single CDs in 2005. The managment of the girl tried so simulate an "organic sleeper hit" chart run and bought back like weekly increasing amounts of copies until somebody found out and it got banned from the charts

I mean yes, but the song is also a boring piano ballad. If it was an actual good song, the situation would look diffrent. A dud by two big artists is still a dud.

MR is a pop ballad with country influences, is not boring like WOW but still a ballad and a solo song . I expected to be #1 at least for 3 days

Yah, the diffrence is that Million Reasons is a great song and a great ballad, Walk on Water is not really Even 90% of all the Beyoncé stans (including me) kind of loathe it.
