Five Foot Two: 1st crying moment

There were a handful of touching and depressing moments in the film but was the moment that got you to cry first? :oprah:

For me it was she was explaining Joanne's amputation story.

I started tearing up when she started the story but my tears started falling when she said her Grandma rather not have Joanne's last memory be losing her hands.

"My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"

When she  was looking through Joanne's stuff with her grandma I started tearing up.

And when she played her Joanne my lip was all quivvery and a tear fell :smh:

That whole scene was incredibly touching. I can't believe they wanted to amputate both her hands. And her mother made the decision to let her go. The would have been the hardest thing she's ever faced as a mother I can't even imagine.

From thereon out I was on and off teary eyed the whole time. I even welled up at the end when her feet lifted off the ground during the final shot. This whole thing was put together so beautifully.

This documentary took a lot out of my emotionally and I don't have it left in me to give a full review rant like I usually would.

I love Gaga more than ever.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

I was tearing up all over the goddamn place.

The part with her Grandma really got to me and I like covered my face during the scenes where she was in pain because it’s just so personal to me.

The phone a call with Sonja too...where she was clearly trying to sound strong and not worried, but her face said otherwise.

When she said that she goes to total silence when everyone leaves.

It must be scary to go from people touching you, talking to you, screaming for you, to just... silence. She must think about everything when she is alone and I imagine she gets overwhelmed.

In my messy era.

I usually don't cry at very touchy moments during movies or documentary's. But I weirdly cried a little bit during all those 'fan greetings over the years' scene. It was very intense and it also made feel a little nostalgic since I witnessed all those moments (as I am a fan since the beginning).

I think this documentary is proof to the critics that she truly does love her monsters with everything she has and wants nothing more than to see them happy. I think her heart would explode if she truly thought about how much she loves us. People have said that "mother monster" was just a phase but the truth is she's mama monster every moment of everyday

I love you monsters. I'd be unfixably broken without you

I cried too ♥️ The world can't even begin to understand how much she loves her monsters. We're bonded for life ♥️
