Klou 2,414
It does somewhat, but the majority of her peers are more snobbish than she is anyway. Who knows, she may be getting hate from some of them because she WON'T collab with them So who are the real snobbish ones?
Ashley 8,703
Maybe. I don't really care because I'm not here for a Gaga/Rihanna collab.
TheMadridHash 4
i'd love her to do a collab with a vocalist from a Rock band, i know, i'm delisuional, but i really don't find any atraction to her doing a collab with Rihanna, katy, madonna, britney, nicky etc... I want her to collab with BIG VOICES, like Bruce, Alicia Keys, Jared Leto, Bono, SO MANY OF THEM.... not pop mainstream... I want a collab with justin beiber :troll: :troll: :troll:
display name 4,360
I don't think she is snobby by not collaborating with others, but certainly, other people would think she's snobby because of it. That's because other artists can't release an album on their own. How many artists nowadays release albums with no features? It doesn't happen anyway. People expect at least four features on one album now, and it's ridiculous. She's not snobby. She just doesn't feel the need to rely so much on other people's abilities. Harry 26,836
How is it snobbish? Why should it be expected of her to collaborate with those people?

They are trying to make it the standard, to have so many features, and GaGa is not going along with it. Therefore, some fans of those pop stars and the stars themselves might see GaGa's noncompliance as snobbishness.
Slayer 9,227
She's still only on her third album. I can understand her wanting to make a name for herself, and not tack on any random rapper to her songs just to boost sales. That doesn't make her a snob, it makes her sensible. She's in it for the music, first and foremost. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
Griffin 6
Not at all. So far, I love and respect all her choices in who she's collaborated with. Putting Beyoncé in Telephone was genius, and teaming up with Marilyn Manson for a LoveGame Remix was also great. Of course there's also Elton John (in Hello, Hello), and I loved that. I continue to respect all of her choices for the forthcoming era and any duets she may choose to do.

I can understand your thinking, but the only reason those popstars are doing features is because of $$$$$$$. The past half-a-decade in the music industry has become even more commercialised and money-grabbing than ever before. There are more rapper features, more club-friendly music, more explicit songs about s-x, more outlandish gimmicks... I'm not saying Gaga hasn't contributed to that commercialisation, but she seems to be steering away from it now that she's in a safe position.
