Would Kesha have had more success with an uptempo track?

Kesha's single Praying has been quite a success. It's top 10 on iTunes (after almost 3 months) and still rising on radio. This is despite the fact that Praying is the least radio friendly single she could've released.

If Kesha can release Praying and get a moderate hit, would she have gotten a smash with a an uptempo lead single?

Personally I think her song with Macklemore is gonna be huge

it’s upbeat and inspirational

I hope so for her sake but that song hit close to home for me, so I really don't wanna hear it everywhere

REALITY

I actually think Praying is one of the most GP friendly songs on the album.

Also, I don't necessarily think she'd have more success with an uptempo track. This is a complete 180 from her older stuff, and I think that interests people. It also shows that she can really sing, which is obviously a good thing.

Hymn is very GP friendly and upbeat, she should start to promote it now as the second single

I get where your going with this, but I think the message of the song got a lot of people into it. So idk if one of her upbeat tracks would've done better

Learn to let go is uptempo and it didn't impact. It's not the music its because she was forced to stay away. As well as her previous album's performance - I don't think she is a chart queen.

I doubt it. I don't think people would be here for Party$ha after her case went viral.
