Brilliant career move and probably her best vocals. I loved C2C. Wasn't as big a fan as I am now of Gaga's, so I unfortunately missed out on the era. Regardless, such a beautiful album. Very underappreciated and underrated by critics.

We should also not forget two of the best performances in her entire career, the Sound of Music tribute and the performance of Frank Sinatra’s song New York New York which also happened during the Cheek to Cheek era! Amazing visuals and beautiful vocals.

i don't listen to C2C but i love C2C, is that makes sense  

jazz has never really been my genre and i didn't really pay attention to the era as a whole, but all the good it has done for gaga can never be topped and will (and should) always be held dear in our hearts

oh, come on! C2C really played an important role but i'm sure she wouldn't have quit music if she didn't do it. 

It's like saying Katy Perry will quit after Witness.

are you sure about that? watch her interviews around 2014/15, she literally says "i wanted to quit music"

she was severely unhappy, i would go as far as to say she would may have attempted suicide if she never found that happiness but that's not something i can confirm without being behind closed doors
