The backlash is real, and yet she is at her peak right now. she's not boring, you're letting your hatred for joanne shine through into your opinions which you believe are facts everyone is loving the tour apart from like 5 pressed joanne haters (one of them being you), the sold out shows and the critical praise vouch for that her MC critic ratings are fine, they're not poor or amazing, just fine. gaga is in a better place than taylor swift for the long term, imo. the GP finally recognise gaga as a talented woman instead of just "the meat dress lady" or "the one who snaked kanye". all because you're bored with gaga, doesn't mean everyone else is and you really are in the minority when it comes to that it's become pretty obvious that she's not here for hits, she's here to last and that's exactly what she's doing and she's proving she can do it without having to anger and annoy the GP by getting thrown up on or wearing meat https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Honestly, how much interest and focus was on her videos and performances this era? well, since the tour is mostly sold out, the SB was watched my millions and Coachella was live streamed... plus don't forgot all the times she performed MR at award shows... i'd say her performances have gotten a lot of attention and focus, especially since she performed infront of the royal family this era her videos? not so much attention but that doesn't correlate or mean they must being boring. plenty of incredibly interesting and impressive videos bubble under 100m, 10m or even under 1 million views whilst really mediocre, generic pop videos will smash with 300m+ views purely because of their name alone. just because gaga is having a lowkey era that lacks theatrics and whacky visuals, doesn't mean it's an automatic failure. joanne era as a whole has had a lot of success https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I liked JW and PI was ok. MR is the only one thats actually bad. How many stunning MVs did she make during c2c? Zero. But you can tell she was having the time of her life performing Jazz even with no visuals. She is definitely happier now than she was during ARTPOP I dont think thats even debatable. She decided to make a very personal album this era and just because you dont like it doesnt mean that its bad. Crazyga just doesnt fit in Joanne very well. Hands up to the sky, I'm about to fly! Joanne has been my favorite album and era of hers, so I really can't complain. I love how she seems so much more like a real person now, but then again I don't care about charts or sales, even though she still does just fine (obviously not as high as her earliest work but oh well). I've enjoyed the videos (JW was awesome, and the other two were simple but fitting for their songs.), and she definitely seems happier than she did during the ARTPOP era.
