Yaaas. H20 was soo good. Can't wait for her to come back. I also enjoyed the Rob Zombie movies, I really liked the actress who played Laurie.

How could they ignore the fact that her character lived through H20 and died in Resurrection? :gum: I am thrilled to see her return and ecstatic that Green is directing, but I really hope this is not messy, Laurie Strode deserves a good send-off.

They ignored Halloween 4-6 with H20. The series is notorious for changing timelines, events and ignoring them.

I don't think all of the GP followed all of the Halloween movies; since there's so many of them and many of the movies released during different generations. And the timeline was altered a lot.

I think I've only seen the original, the one where the little girl is the killer, H20, Resurrection, and both Rob Zombie movies.

They may not follow them but the storylines are different and addressed fairly quickly with what's been changed.

Halloween IV - Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is said to have died in a car accident before the movie.

H20 - Michael Myers hasn't been seen in 20 years thus Halloween 4-6 never existing.

A - I am beyond excited. I have been a HUGE Halloween fan since i was a kid. Its the first movie i remember watching as a child. Jamie Lee Curtis was sucha huge part of my life after that. I watched everything she was in.

B - This film is supposed to take place after the first or second movie. This has all been up for debate because the writers/directors dont want to follow the sister story line. This has me thinking, either they scrapped that and this is essentially a remake of H20, but with John Carpenters backing, or they are going to fool us all and make her digitally younger and die at the very beginning of the film/end of the original Halloween. I know that Jamie really wants to be the one to kill Michael, so i feel like going down the H20 route again would be the only option for her, if she isn't dying in the very beginning.

C - I dont really care what they decide on, because the original Scream Queen coming back to the movie that made her career is so epic that i will accept whatever they give me.

I agree however she was pretty rude and dismissive of the genre for years after. The one con she did she scoffed at people who asked her to talk about Prom Night, Terror Train and other movies beside Halloween and she was rather cold about it.

It was until Scream Queens she kind of appreciated it but she distanced herself a lot from it after H20/Resurrection.

Mess though. I liked those two movies (even though they were not as great as the first ones), but I guess that's what's gonna happen :/

Secretly still hoping for a "Freddy vs Jason II: Michael" :classy:

See you lost me at Freddy VS Jason 2 LMAO!!! Although I would hands down be rooting for Michael.

True, but I think everyone at one point would get tired of being asked the same questions about your horror career, she could have been more appreciative of course but at least now she is and I can't wait to see what they are gonna do with this movie!

Wasn't there originally a sequel for FVJ with Ash from Evil Dead :duck: I would have loved to see that

It was considered but I think ultimately scrapped because the first movie didn’t really do so oh well despite the ending being somewhat of a cliffhanger.
