Gaga's voice better NOW when performing her older songs?

(I apologize for any poorly written sentences, I'm just kind of putting some thoughts together I've had lately, and it might come across as disjointed lol..)

Is it just me - or is she absolutely SLAYING the vocals on the Joanne tour? She is hitting HIGHER notes than she was hitting 5+ years ago, and the high notes she was already able to hit sound richer & fuller... and overall her voice sounds richer & fuller than ever.  She's not dodging notes at all, she's belting the high note in Paparazzi "Promise I'll Be Kind! ..."  - she ad-libs higher notes on the last chorus of Poker Face & Alejandro... not only that, her belting voice sounds stronger than ever.  She hits the "Can't" PERFECTLY on pitch on the chorus of "Poker Face"...  If you listen back to her 2010 performance at Lollapalooza (a good example of the Fame Monster Tour), her voice was definitely a little raspier - she even sang parts of Just Dance lower back then, during the parts of the song where she sings "What's goin' on *on the floor -- Keep it cool, *what's the name of this club?*" .. I'm sure there are other examples, feel free to add your own.

Nonetheless, I believe this is a great example what taking good care of yourself, good training, good technique & good talent is... and a handheld mic vs a headset mic!

Her voice has gotten great at hitting notes and performing and please don't hate me for this but doesn't she sing too low sometimes? I love her voice she's one of the best vocalists of all time, but she use to sound better imo when her she used to sing higher. I'm not wishing that she's goes back to her style because I think she should only do what she's comfortable with but it's just something I noticed...

I was watching videos of the JWT when my little cousin said that Gaga has a deep singing voice :wtfga:

Her ad libs are amazing. I would love to hear a live album or dvd release

I really hope she releases a live tour album or an acoustic album with all of those different little harmonies and ad libs that she has picked up over the years

I agree, I think it's what they're aiming for, which is why choreo is less intense for her this time around, to let her belt and hit those notes.

Which I am fine with. Give me those flawless vocals that I love :classy:

I agree, there should be an entire live album devoted to these classics with these enhanced vocals and fabulous ad-libs.

Yep, she's serving FameGa sexy and crazy energy with 100000x better vocals, after TF ball she used to sing these songs like she was bored of them and her voice was thin and very nasal during PF Alejandro and JD

I was starting to get really bored of some of the TF singles, but she's really breathed a lot of life into them recently (along with the rest of the set list).

Her vocals just keep getting better and better.

3 points in and ready for more
