Everyone has the right to vote. Do we really need to shame people for voting people that we don't agree with. It's just politics.

Because politics is an abstract concept that has no affect on people's lives.

I disagree about this part. For french elections (Le Pen vs Macron, I voted AGAINST Le Pen, not FOR Macron. My vote wasn't support for Macron but resistance against Le Pen). Otherwise, the rest is tea. And Colby is such an overrated **** star, he's not that great

At the end of the day you still voted FOR MACRON

Basically Colby is a white hipster artist type, who plays with the cliche and predictable "romantic communist" angle, basically supporting Stalinist accelerationist theories, and caring very little about the reality of the edge we could actually be teetering on.

He is saying in one way or another, that had Trump not become president, the voices against everything he stands for wouldn't be strong to enough to create change, when in reality those marchers and protestors are just people with common decency and humanity that probably couldn't stand the BS even before Trumo but didn't know how to gather people for the cause. In no way does that justify voting for Trump or just not voting at all and letting trump win, either way you've lost a piece of humanity in the war of your mind versus your heart.

what he doesnt understand is for his "accelerationist" viewpoint, millions of people die. and of course he isn't impacted which is why he feels entitled to think this way.

From an American citizen's POV, perhaps. For the rest of the world, both the republican and democratic parties have caused much harm.

BTW I'm in no way pro-Trump.
