By all means, don't be excited for new Gaga music then, it won't affect how I, or majority of other LMs feel.

It doesn't really feel like an 'era'. It's more of a collection of events with an underlying album. She did say before it dropped that she were going to be doing things differently this time around.

I think for the most part it has been a success. The only thing missing is the heavy impact on charts but that's neither here nor there. I just wish I enjoyed the music because I would have enjoyed this era even more.

Million Reasons isn't half a video just because you don't like it

True, it's just one whole bad video.

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

Isn't that basically what an "era" is?

Maybe, for you? For me a Gaga era has always been very distinct and the album is the dominating force whereas this era was more of a Superbowl - Coachella - ASIB era with Joanne taking a back seat

my point about ARTPOP is that it was abandoned. is that a lie? no? okay. i understand what gaga have been through but that doesn't mean she should have given up on her precious projecT

A lot of the ideas she had were owned under her old management so when's Troy left her she couldn't use any of them.

Joanne era wasn't meant to slay us with music videos. It's focused on epic live performances which all of a sudden made Gaga a legacy artist :golfclap:

OP: You should be hyped because Gaga is always unpredictable

REALITY

It's funny how you guys are always like, "Where are the music videos? Where are the "captivating" visuals?" It's like no matter what Gaga does, you are never happy.

First of all, the Joanne World Tour is literally one of her best, if not, her best tour. Every costume is amazing, the set list is great, and the stage itself is phenomenal! I don't know what you're talking about having this tour be "lackluster"

And, sorry not sorry, but people really need to cut this "What happened to the music videos?!" bullsh*t. Like, enough with it already. I get it, Million Reasons may not have been a great video (I liked it, but it's certainly not one of my favorites), but like, it's just so ****ing annoying when every other topic that complains about Gaga is about her music videos. Like, sorry, but just get the **** over it. It's one music video. Yes, music videos are an important part of the process, but it's not the only thing. Also, people definitely are being melodramatic with their reactions. It's not like she ****ing killed someone, the music videos are fine (on that note, ARTPOP's videos are absolutely amazing, so I don't know what you're doing shading them).

Also, funny how you're just entirely missing some of the biggest moments in her career. I mean, the Super Bowl, Coachella, Million Reasons becoming a pretty good hit, a documentary coming, etc. etc. Like, you're here complaining about a "half of a music video," yet you're completely neglecting some of her greatest moments in her career.

You realize that this is beyond disrespectful, right? She had and still has completely faith and love for ARTPOP, but the circumstances she was put in denied her an opportunity to fully express what she wanted to do.

She'll talk about it in this documentary, and you'll see then the extent of what she had to go through and how main pain she was in.

To be honest I'm not hyped at all for LG6, at least not until we'll have more teases and official news about it.

That album could be released in years and we don't know a thing about it.

I was very hyped by all the things she teased in 2015 for LG5 and I was quite disappointed by the Joanne era as a whole (except the tour, and I'm not counting SB and Coachella that are not Joanne era). I was far more attracted by the first things she teased in 2015 than what she gave to us in 2016.

So I will only wait patiently and see what is coming for LG6. But no hype for me this time.

My final point is: I won't be hyped for the next album...

Then don't. No one is making you do anything. Go find something else of someone else to be "hyped over".

Many fans embraced and enjoyed the last three eras (including C2C)...and are looking forward to whatever comes next!

OMG THE LIES

Joanne is amazing. It sounds like NOTHING on the radio right now, and she still managed to get success from it. Many people followed: Miley is her Joanne era right now, and also Kehsa. Perfect Illusion video was great, it fit the song well. MR video was bad, but the song is amazing, became a top 5 hit and her biggest song on Adult Radio. We had many acclaimed, power-vocal performances. She gave us mini bar tour, John Wayne amazing visuals and many many great songs on the album.

This era she did Superbowl, she did Coachella, released The Cure which was a decent hit considering the only promo she ever did was a tweet. We have a documentary coming, acclaimed so far, and we're gonna love it. She worked so hard on ASIB,  she's the main role and also made an album for it full of original songs, and maybe 1-2 covers. DJWS was in the studio with her so it's not like we're only getting country songs. At one point in the movie she decides to switch to pop so I am sure we will get 50% pop bops and 50% Joanne like bops from that album. We have so many things to look forward to. Next year we are getting a new album(ASIB) and many red carpet appearances for the movie+interviews. Possibly even awards.

JWT is her best tour in my opinion. Her looks are amazing, she served amazing visuals with interludes, the stage is so innovative and out of this world I cant even. Acclaimed, sold-out tour.

With Joanne she proved that you don't need a #1 trendy pop song to stay relevant if you are Lady Gaga. (look at Katy, she is flopping everywhere). She took a huge risk and it payed off. Excited to see what her new era will bring because she is always changing, and I bet it's going to be amazing
