Hunniess, this success has nothing to do with pop music. It has everything to do with Taylor. At this point she can basically record her fart and it will land on the BB100. You can all kid yourself that her new work is anywhere close to what she last put out with 1989. 1989 was pop but it was actually good. LWYMMD is bad and the new song is atrocious (apparently having no chorus is the new Taylor thing) She's selling her image and this narrative. People are just being moths drawn to the controversy bait she's dangling out. Omg who is she dissing? Omg did u see that part in her video? I have to admit, her team is on top of the game when it comes to hype marketing and it's clearly winning, but this has nothing to do with the music. Pop girls will continue to flop at this point even after Reputation.
