Yes, kt is because of the poison. It is the most Fame Monster esque song and thus the symbol is dark. Refer here instead.

The Mickie Mouse theme would be more suitable for Paparazzi because of the outfits.  

Or blood because of the performance.

Paparazzi: it centers around the theme of death. Death can be represented by a skull.

Telephone: the video shows and centers around the theme of crime. Also the outfit, that iconic outfit !

But Paparazzi is not only about the death, it's about the dark side of fame and the Mickey Mouse theme is creepy and dark and she wore outfits inspired by that in that era (even in the Music Video) while on the other hand there was no visual representation of the skull so I don't think any fans associate the skull with Paparazzi. 

And the vessel/ the eggs are a pretty prominent theme for BTW too (the music video, the Grammy performance, the idea of creation) but I agree the unicorn is suitable for BTW since the song it's about self-expression too.
