Tea probably "aged like milk" for her. it's quite common while making music, sometimes people get tired of old material and scrap everything. I think Taylor Swift said something once that the albuns usually start while she's on tour, then she takes a break and re start almost everything from 0 because she no longer feel "connected" with the subject under these songs. TEA was the first ARTPOP hint back in 2012, the way she "teased" is likely that it was already at least in some "demo" form. If we check then, most of the songs from ARTPOP were really finished or written in 2013 only, likely after the hip accident. DWUW, Venus, MANiCURE (final), Sexxx Dreams (Final)... all of them were songs finished in 2013 only. If we check back also, Gaga hinted songs like "TEMPLE" and "Onion Girl" back in 2012... those were probably scrapped at a really later case. If I remember right actually, Gaga announced Temple & Brooklyn Nights on the album tracklist and just switched later...
