Okay, which Madonna fan did this? :madge:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Wayne_(song)

"Genre Bubblegum pop"

"It is a bubblegum pop song that features elements of country, disco, funk, house, and pop rock music that Gaga co-wrote and co-produced with Mark Ronson and BloodPop, with additional writing from Josh Homme."

****ing bubblegum pop?

I realized that a few weeks ago and changed it to 'pop-rock'. Btw, the article is not secured, so anyone can edit it.

And now I got a message saying:

" Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to John Wayne (song). Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.  — Calvin999 12:25, 12 August 2017 (UTC)"

Excuse me? :madge:

They turned it back to 'bubblegum pop' :madge:

I'll change it to 'pop-rock' again

Edit: Oh look

"| Genre           = [[Bubblegum pop]]<!-- Bubblegum pop is the only genre whereby a reviewer explicitly called the song a particular genre. Do not change or remove it, or add other genres which are merely influences, elements of or ambiguous phrasing. -->"

It's one of those crappy rules, you can only mark a song as a genre if a publication calls it that genre. The only time a publication took a guess at John Wayne is when they called it bubblegum pop so its what we're stuck with :saladga:

Oh and to add up, I also wrote the exact dates when the video was shot, but they erased that as well.

Scott Zuppardo: Lady Gaga is never short on ideas and creativity, and I appreciate that 13-fold. Getting high with John Wayne could be superb and also very uncomfortable as he doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy I’d like to take some rips or inhale a few chokers with. I wonder if John Wayne would be into uppers or downers? As for the song, Lady Gaga makes more bubble gum pop, shocking. [5/10]

The italian version of the page says the genre is "dance rock" and "country rock", why don't they use the same genres for all the versions? :saladga:
