OOPS22 4,202 Posted August 23, 2017 Share Posted August 23, 2017 I feel like I really see Cynthia's growth this era. I recently rewatched Gaga's sit down interview with Oprah. When Cynthia sat in on the interview, her time felt a bit...snooty. She was very poised and sophisticated, as she tried to filter Gaga and her responses to Oprah's questions. All the recent images and interviews I've seen of her, her hair and make up isn't done, she's supportive of her family, and she is driven with her role in the BTW Foundation. She seems more relaxed, relatable, and carefree. I think the "Joanne" album has really helped not only Gaga, but her entire family to be more accepting of who they are. /my quick two-cents. Can you imagine the media and the GP ripping apart your daughter and you really have no control over it? Im sure Joanne has helped them a lot too. At first you feel the need to put on your best face but as you spend more time being photographed on the street by strangers, hounded by devoted fans at your restaurant, and speaking in front of crowds for BTWF business, that need fades into the background and you can be more "you" there even. If she's more comfortable in the spotlight, it's probably she's just got used to it over the years. I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!
