SychosSoChic 9,995
She's smart. She has to know she was overexposed and needs to pull it back a little. That or she'll make fun of everything again. Either way I am beyond here for it. It's been 3 years after all. Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us. Cuchulainn 3,040
I don't think so. I feel like her first time going full pop was huge, but this isn't going to be anything special.

At least the album comes out after the grammy deadline so LG can get some nods for Joanne and Million Reasons and probably The Cure Isnt the album out on September 24th? 6 days before the deadline? Give me album figures and then tell me they were similar in impact. Girl

And btw: 1989 - Over 6 million My Everything - around 700,000 And these are just US figures. 1989 had a MUCH LARGER impact than My Everything. Don't kid yourself. The Child 18,997
Taylor Swift never had any impact and 1989 certainly did not. Was it successful? Of course, it was really successful. Was it hailed by the critics? Hell yeah. Did it got her many awards? Yes that's undeniable. Did it have any impact? Not at all. ‘If religion be the cause of disunity, then irreligion is surely to be preferred.’ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

She's not really a trend setter and her message was the same as her country career. Im hoping she moves into less girl-next-door and more super star mode. We will see tomorrow! Guest bostonGUY
I feel like this is gonna be a flop era I'm not saying that because of how much I dislike her, I feel like she's changing things up and people won't be here for it

GypsyBabe 22,836
I don't think 1989 had any true impact () but it was really successful and had some catchy songs on it. I wouldn't call myself a fan of hers (though I like a couple songs). She's a bland performer, but she does certainly have talent. I just wouldn't wish a flop era on anyone. ⚯͛
VasilisVas 5,164
Idk and idc as long as her music isn't overexposed and played every 5 minutes on every radio station like her singles from 1989.
sethrb101 4,523
Whether you like her or not, you guys are naive to think 1989 had little impact and that this new era won't either. Girl is a powerhouse. THAT'S the tea. P.S. I have a love-hate relationship with Taylor. She's definitely kinda shady, but she makes some good music, so I'm excited to see what she brings this time.
