Considering she "won" a lot of haters during the 1989 era, I don't think it will be as successful

Saint Hollywood

I doubt it, but as long as she dethrones most of the trash at the top right now, I don't care what she does. :tony:

Having impact is different to selling well or winning awards. I don't see TS career as groundbreaking and she isn't an excellent performer; she's bland and brings nothing new. But I wish her sucess.

REALITY

Even though I really don't like her, I think she'll be very successful this era.

1989 didn't even have any impact. Probably one of the most generic pop albums ever. I like it tho . But let's not pretend it was all that .

1989 was huge. Nobody can deny it. But with this album I don't think she'll be equally sucessful. But it won't flop either. Not this time. I wish her the best. She's a smart and a talented girl.

the scars on my mind are on replay.

I'll be able to tell you that more tomorrow once I hear the new single.

It depends if she continues to talk about teenage things (relationships, coming of age, etc) or she matures and moves on to new territory.

1989 was as impactful as my everything tbh. problem was a similar hit to shake it off, break free was bigger than style here, one last time was similar to blank space, love me harder was similar to bad blood in terms of popularity plus grande has had another era of success since then so taylor needs to deliver if she wants to remain relevant.

No, I think 1989 was her peak.

At least the album comes out after the grammy deadline so LG can get some nods for Joanne and Million Reasons and probably The Cure
