Halsey seem to have alienated everyone. She has potential. Many of those who liked Badlands (especially tumblr) isn't feeling HFK and the audience she wanted for HFK weren't here for it. If she wants to go pop she shouldve followed up Closer with a full on pop album. Trying to compromise between mainstream and tumblr clearly isn't something she can afford this time.

Oh, this is seriously embarrassing for her. I had no idea she was doing arenas. She's essentially still a newcomer at this point and newcomers just can't do arenas. Even Gaga did a mostly club/theatre tour with TF initially and that album was much, much bigger than HFK and she actually had #1 hits. Kesha's never done a world arena tour. Meghan Trainor is still doing the whole clubs/theatre idea. Iggy Azalea did a little club/theatre tour pre-album and then tried to do a US arena tour with her debut album but dates had to be cancelled and eventually, the entire tour got canned. It just goes to show that just because you've got a #1 album, a #1 song, have decent sales, etc. doesn't mean you'll have touring demand. You certainly can't just start doing arenas because your sole achievement is a #1 album. I don't know what her team were thinking. Newcomers have to earn their right to perform at arenas. It doesn't matter what the size of the venue is as long as you sell it out and arenas are just too much of a risk for newcomers right now. This is a really hard time in general to sell out tours. The only ones on the pop/pop rock circuit who are capable of doing it right now are Ed, Beyonce, Adele, Taylor, Coldplay and Gaga. Everyone else is doing arena tours at half-capacity or having to make do with clubs and theatres. In Jessie J's case, she went from playing arenas to playing O2 academies in the space of a year because she'd fallen so hard in sales from one album to the next. The public's taste can change in two shakes of a lamb's tail these days. It's a shame but it's reality.

she's still a newcomer and THINK public already know her ?

girl you're not an A-List singer. try smaller venue first to grasp larger REAL LIFE fanbase not just from your tumblr fans.

Halsey Team is getting cocky. There are literally no hit in HFK. Nobody knows her (I'm just saying but it's true) and they decided to do as big as Gaga or Katy (meanwhile even Katy is struggling with it):emma:

Sorry I quoted the wrong person :emma:

Im surprised she's trying to do arenas, i don't think she's popular enough.

Kesha was doing clubs for the most part and that was at her peak. At Kesha's peak, i think she was bigger than Hasley

Kesha at her peak was much bigger than Halsey will ever be, I mean, Tik Tok blocked Bad Romance.

exactly, and Kesha barely made it to stadiums. Halsey is being way to ambitious with her tour
