Yeah I also didn't like the whole 10 commandments thing too but all the other things were great.

Basic? It's my preference, I liked the ornate set designs, mythologies, pop cultural shout-outs, and complex character interactions. It was far from my favorite season, but still was far more interesting than some tired and dusty war story would have been.

While I enjoyed Hotel for what it was, the show definitely paled in comparison to the first three seasons.

And while I think Jessica Lange is a fantastic actress, neither or not Gaga had anything to do with the series being good or bad. Hotel fell in quality, and had Gaga. Freakshow crashed and burned, and it had Lange. And Roanoake...well, we don't talk about that.

We will see what Cult brings us, although, based on the interviews and how they are describing it, it looks like it is going to be just another Roanoke.

Idk why people are acting like it would've been any better than Hotel, I swear every time theres an interesting concept that Ryan didn't use people think it could've been the next Asylum.

Every concept is good but some are executed better than others

Murder House: There were a lot of different storylines, but there was a clear narrative and it was new so it worked

Asylum: There was a clear line from beginning to end: Lana Escaping the Asylum with a few side stories that don't distract from the real objective

Coven: I think this season stayed the most on track, there was one major plot line (who will be the next supreme) and then one minor plot line (the Kathy Bates and 

Freak Show: This was just confusing, there was so many storylines and I couldn't keep track, plus the one thing everyone was excited for (Twisty) was killed off in like the third episode and there was also singing for some reason (songs from decades after the show takes place)

Hotel: There were a few storylines, but unlike Asylum it was hard to stay on track with the main one, and it seemed like all the storylines were fighting to be the main one, its like Ryan had ideas for 3 different seasons and just smashed them into 1, but the smaller side plots were done well.

Roanoke:

I have high hopes for Cult but I feel like theres a 90% chance I'll be disappointed
